Professional Experience

Danielle has over two decades of experience, holding clinical and leadership positions. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work and an Independent Clinical License. Danielle has provided clinical supervision and coaching that has helped many achieve their professional development goals. She is passionate about creating an environment where employees are empowered and engaged resulting in high performing staff with a teamwork attitude. She is dedicated to quality improvement, patient care and the future of health care. With her strong public speaking and training skills, she shares practical and real solutions that spark and inspire professional development. 

Danielle is currently a member of the Talent Development & Employee Experience Team with Lifespan’s Human Resources Department, and the only Clinician within HR. Danielle is responsible for building clinical leadership & management capability across Lifespan. She designs, delivers and implements learning and serves as a strategic development partner.

Danielle has spent most of her career delivering trainings, workshops, retreats and speaking engagements related to employee & leadership development. Her  clinical and leadership work spans from the neonatal to the aging population, and at-risk populations including adolescents, incarcerated individuals and women.

Managing programs and leading teams to provide high quality care, Danielle has had the opportunity to influence many providers and clients in the field. These experiences generated practical and relatable solutions that reach a wide range of audiences. Danielle has created cultures of accountability, implemented best practices, and provided development opportunities for individuals and teams.

Danielle has knowledge and experience in creating solutions that ensure cost effective utilization of resources in ever changing landscapes. She has created innovative ways to improve care and support to customers.

Danielle's experience includes:

  • Writing and developing innovation grants for CMS
  • Actively involved in developing contracts with community partners at the executive level

  • Served on multiple Ethics Committees

  • Served on the RI Prematurity Task Force

  • Coordination of Care with contracted insurance companies

  • Presented at Grand Rounds, Schwartz Rounds, Inter-Agency Committees, National Conferences, Universities and other public forums

  • Physician and executive leadership training

  • Served as a member of Domestic Abuse Policy and Procedure Committee for the Providence Police Department

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining curriculums

  • Involved with special events and fundraising  

  • Created and implemented systems between agency programs and community partners

  • Legislative advocacy at the state level

  • Responsible for education of HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Contraceptives, Anatomy, Conflict/Resolution, Cultural Diversity, Unconscious Bias and other topics related to at risk populations

  • Liaison for the Community Planning Group of RI

  • Public Speaking and education in a variety of settings including universities & colleges, high schools, prisons and training school, community events, hospitals, community & state agencies, and local & national conferences
